Our Mission
RMI's mission is to assist individuals with developmental disabilities to reach the maximum level of independence through residential and vocational support.
Our History
RMI was originally founded through The Arc of San Antonio in 1982 by a group of seven families who wanted to create independent living options for their adult children or siblings. We were separately incorporated in 1988 and obtained our 501 (c) (3) in 1990.
RMI has quadrupled in size over the last ten years, and now serves 90 people with disabilities through group homes, semi-independent apartments, foster homes and weekday Life Enrichment program. Four of our original 7 residents are still with us.

Weekday Life Enrichment
