Reaching Maximum Independence takes pride in providing one of San Antonio’s finest Job Placement Programs for people with disabilities. Through a network with the Texas Workforce Solutions Vocational Rehabilitation Services (TWS-VRS), local employers, as well as trained and experienced staff, participants receive an array of services designed to enhance employment. Our motto is Prepare, Find, Get, and Keep employment.
Work Readiness SErvices prepare participants to successfully obtain and maintain competitive integrated employment. The strong foundation we provide prepares individuals for successful employment.
An individual coach works one-on-one with each participant to determine interests that aid in finding the most suitable type of work.
Once a job has been found, RMI, provides a one-on-one “Job Coach.” The job coach facilitates the training process with the participants and employer.
Ongoing Support allows specific goals and objectives to be addressed regarding the individual’s employment and address concerns in order to keep a job.
Multi-Assistance Center (MAC)
Reaching Maximum Independence is happy to announce that we have partnered with the Multi-Assistance Center (MAC) to provide Work Experience Placement (WEP) and Work Experience Training (WET) services!
Selected individuals will work alongside qualified staff who have the Job Placement and/or Job Skills Trainer credential. The selected individual will gain the necessary knowledge and skills while at The Mac to obtain competitive and integrated employment.
Work experience services are intended to be short-term (12 or fewer weeks) and part-time.
